X’mas Day Out with the Usual Suspects
We met up for a day of arts & cultural experience at National Museum of Singapore. Since it was Xmas Day, all of the exhibits are free admission - which also translates to crazy throngs of crowds queing up for the most popular exhibition of the moment - Quest for Immortality - The World of Ancient Egypt
In the end, we couldn’t que for it since it was, quoting the staff, “full and overcrowded”, and we went for the Singapore History Gallery instead. Was expecting it to be a bore, but it turns out to be a pretty interactive experience. We also checked out the other exhibits that was on, for example Carrier Bags 1950s - 1980s and Spot & Shoot 2009: Our Landscape.
